Sufficient but not necessary
Understanding the integral approach is sufficient but not necessary for growth and development. As all roads lead to an integral destination in the end, the cognitive structures, categorizing and sorting does not bear precedence or weight over the practical approaches to self development. What's lacking in the integral model is an effective tactical approach to live it.
How consumable is the integral approach to someone with low cognitive development? If we are trying as a group to move significant numbers to second tier consciousness, that does not preclude those that aren't great artists, why preclude those with a less than genius cognitive capacity? The Integral Operating System kit does not start at the appropriate lowest common denominator, and for that it is only perpetuating a kind of subcultural elitisim.
Keeping the materials of the I-I under the lock and key of a subscription seems to be in VERY stark contrast to the motives of groups like Wikimedia. I do understand that there are costs involved, but surely there are other ways to offset costs.
In the end, we must all pick up the ball that is integral and advance it on the field in our own individual way, and this way is mine.
