I belive the purpose of human existence is the activity of bringing thought into form. I don't think an artist or an engineer or musician would tell you any different. If thoughts, however, are the playground of the ego, then does that not make implicit the ego as an integral part of being? Why then is it so important to trancend such a thing, if only to come back to it to achieve?

Indeed.  I believe this and the way you have described it to be of great value. 

As for the trancendence of the ego and our return to it for achievements sake…

Thanks for the feedback Rothach! I'm still in the discovery mode with much of this so this is as much an articulation of the journey as anything.
